About the photograph - Tower Bridge iron
Like everyone else, I see a lot of images online. The more famous something is, the more images I can see of it. And the vast majority of them are all the same. Taken from the same location, at the same angle. This offers me an opportunity because it forces me to try and find something that is different about the subject, that can be missed.
In this case it was Tower Bridge, London. What caught my eye was the iron in the archways of the towers. I just felt there were details here that lots of people would miss as they tried to take in the entire bridge. I like the curves of the light coloured beams as they contrast with the dark coloured areas along with the differing patterns of rivets.
