About the photography - Cruach Mhór Rain

Sometimes in photography you just get lucky, like with this photograph of Cruach Mhór, a peak on The MacGillycuddy Reeks mountain range.
Whenever I am in Killarney, Kerry, I always visit Aghadoe, just to the west of the town. I never tire of the view of Ireland’s highest mountain range, and Lough Leane from there. On this particular visit the weather conditions simply came together to provide the drama to the scene. Highlighted clouds, rain, and the green hues of the undulations on the mountains, all contrasted by the dark silhouetted mountains. I consider myself very lucky to have been there to witness and capture it.
