About the photograph
We have many expressions in Ireland to describe the weather. Soft day is one that can be used for this photograph. Low cloud, little to no wind, and a constant light rain that will soak you right though.
This spot located just south of Ballyhnahinch Castle along the Owenmore river had been on my shoot list for a while, but the weather conditions never seemed quite right for what I was looking and as a popular fishing spot there are always a few too many people around. Until this day.
It was quiet and peaceful, nobody around except the sheep, and the row boat which is rarely seen was moored to the pier. The "soft day" conditions just added that little bit of Connemara drama to the scene. All that was left was to wait for the sheep to do something interesting. So when one of them started staring at me, I had to photograph.
Delighted that I went shooting that day instead of staying indoors like everyone else.
About my prints and frames

Size refers to the overall size of the print including the border.
For framed prints the size is increased by an additional 2.54 cm (1 inch) on both width and height.
Care
Care is always recommend when handling a fine art print as the photographic paper can be sensitive to touch.
Shipping

If your fine art print has a defect or other issue, I am happy to either resend the print or refund the cost of your order.
